ALD Automotive, one of the leaders of operational leasing industry, announces the appointment of Alexandru Popescu as the new Commercial Director of the company, effective since April, 27th. With more than 15 years of experience in banking and finance industry, Mr. Popescu will coordinate both the commercial activity of the company and the sales team management.
In his new role, he will be responsible for increasing the portfolio of international and local clients, Corporate and SMEs and also to develop strategic partnerships with the BRD Group, OEMs and auto dealers. At the same time, the new Commercial Director will focus his activity on maintaining a high quality of the services provided to the clients and a high satisfaction rate.
Furthermore, Mr. Popescu will promote the innovative solutions developed by ALD Automotive in close connection with the Group's CSR strategy and policy.

Biography Alexandru Popescu
Alexandru Popescu started his career in 2005 in BRD, being integrated since his employment in a training program for the future managers of the bank. In the last 15 years he has held various commercial and managerial positions, covering the relationship with the bank's clients in the Corporate, SME, Private Banking and Retail segments. The last position occupied was as Commercial Director of the Business Center on the NonRetail segment.
