In two years since ALD Automotive launched the Defensive Driving Program its vehicle fleet drivers achieved to reduce the number of damages by 25% following the courses. The program is organized in partnership with Titi Aur and was attended by nearly 750 ALD Automotive vehicle users.
After evaluating the number of damages occurred before and after the drivers participated in the program, the results also revealed that 40% of the drivers have decreased the number of accidents, which indicates a progress in their driving behaviour. For more accuracy, the analysis considered the damages declared as caused by the drivers’ fault. The overall value of these damages was cutback by 9% after the program.

Road safety is a common issue nowadays for companies and individuals, too, considering the risks and casualties it involves daily. During the courses participants are taught within unique training facilities how to strengthen their driving skills by learning defensive driving techniques and vehicle control procedures within unforeseen traffic events, while testing specially designed car simulators.
