The ALD Automotive Group and Wheels, Inc. signed a new Global Framework Agreement (GFA) with Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. (MSD), known as Merck in the United States and Canada, on 1st September 2013. The agreement covers 33 countries and almost 15,000 vehicles for MSD and its affiliates, representing more than half of the MSD’s and its affiliates’ current total worldwide fleet.
The agreement demonstrates the ongoing commitment of the ALD Automotive Group and Wheels, Inc. to develop Global Fleet Solutions for MSD. These solutions include, but are not limited to:
- consolidating global account governance;
- developing a reporting framework to provide a global fleet insight; and
- examining potential Fleet Management solutions in new territories and emerging markets.
The agreement is in effect until 30th June 2014.
